Ordered the case and recieved the next day. Was straightforward to open and replace the innards from my key into. Took less than 15 mins. My local locksmith cut the key for me for £6. All in all very happy

Corsa Key Case

Buttons on existing case worn completely through.
Replaced top half only to avoid having to remove and refit battery contacts. Perfect fit and fitted in a matter of a few minutes. Works perfectly.

Good fit and quality item.

Unlike the key cases sold on a popular auction site for a few quid , these ones have a quality feel of the original item, you can twist a coin in the end to open the case and it’s does chew up the case like the very cheap copies, I would buy from this seller again.

Works well but be warned!

I used this to replace a worn out Kia Sorento key fob and I am delighted to now have an as new key working perfectly.

Be warned, the description suggests you just whip out the old electronics and place them in the new key which isn’t quite the case.

It was easy enough to remove the circuit board from the old key (although, unlike this replacement, there was no screw to undo to separate the halves of the plastic housing of the old key so I had to break it open). The difficulty came in removing the immobiliser chip which was tightly glued in to the old key and required a sharp Stanley knife and some brute force to remove it. I was lucky not to damage the chip.

As I say, really pleased with the results but be prepared to work for it and I think I was lucky not to damage the chip which would have required me to get a whole new key!
